Wooden umbrella project features:
For the wooden umbrella, an RPET fabric was used for the canopy, RPET is made from recycled bottles and is considered much more sustainable to use than single use plastics. RPET has all the traits of plastic, such as being waterproof, without leaving such a big carbon footprint on the environment. To add to this, the umbrellas we manufacture are built to last, with a 2-year guarantee, these umbrellas will not be ending up in land fill.
For the rest of the wooden umbrella, the details include a classic wood shaft and wooden crook handle, gun-metal fixings, popper closure on the tie wrap and push button automatic opening.
The client provided a breathtaking design exclusively crafted for the wooden umbrella to be used at their event. Their preference was for a double-canopy wooden umbrella, allowing for a full-scale digital print with vibrant colors and intricate detailing on the outer canopy. The inner canopy was to be a single contrasting color, precisely matched to a Pantone shade.
